Welcome to Lightwriterimages.com!  My name is Laura James. I grew up in Westerville, Ohio and now live in Dayton, Ohio. I am a Physical Therapist, but also a serious photographer.  The name was created based on the word photography, photo meaning light and graphy meaning writing.

This website was created to display and sell my images. It has been quite a process and have now decided to focus mainly on canvas and acrylic prints, although if you would like a print, please contact me.  I have also included my platinum palladium prints, these are created in a darkroom from a digital negative.  The depth and toning in these images are incredible!  

The ultimate compliment for an artist is for someone to buy and display their art in their home and I consider it an honor. Thank you!!!
